Ace Links Retail Media With Influencer Marketing
Ace Hardware's RedVest Media has launched a new suite of measurement, audience, social and commerce capabilities.
Designed to combat customer journey fragmentation, the updates position the hardware collective's retailer media arm as "The Helpful Network," offering actionable solutions for brands looking to connect with home-improvement consumers.
The new capabilities center on driving full-funnel engagement and clear business impact, including:
Social & Influencer Integration: RedVest now offers social amplification capabilities. Through a partnership with Influential, marketers now can extend social creatives into new environments, utilizing RedVest’s first-party audience targeting and closed-loop measurement, while working with Ace-vetted creators through the influencer marketing platform.
DoorDash Commerce Partnership: This new partnership introduces Sponsored Ads and Sponsored Brands directly within the Ace storefront on the DoorDash platform. This creates a high-impact, on-demand touchpoint to engage shoppers during high-intent buying moments.
- Robust Measurement Enhancements: For added performance clarity, RedVest is expanding its analytics with incrementality measurement for offsite media and new-to-brand reporting. These tools help brands clearly attribute growth and optimize their marketing investments.
- Custom Audiences and Local Relevancy: RedVest Media is building an audience library that will allow brands to target precise, custom cohorts of DIYers and handy homeowners.

RedVest Media is also adding capabilities that lean into the unique dynamics of the home improvement category as well as Ace's local store model and the role Ace retailers play in their communities. Capabilities include:
- Weather-triggered programmatic advertising, helping brands reach consumers when weather creates a need for a relevant project or product
- A "RetailerReach" program that gives vendors new ways to reach Ace and Emery Jensen stores through retailer-facing banners, emails and educational content. This helps brands build consideration and support distribution in partnership with merchandising,
- Category Driver Campaigns: Multi-brand media packages aligned with seasonal moments and merchant goals that let participating brands pool investments for greater reach and channel expansion.
"We are expanding RedVest Media thoughtfully in the areas advertisers value most and in ways that lean into the uniqueness of Ace," said Molly Hjelm, corporate vice president and head of RedVest Media at Ace Hardware. "We're particularly thrilled to announce significant partnerships in Social and Influencer, which will help our vendors engage the Ace customer via trusted, authentic perspectives. Our newly announced DoorDash partnership will help advertisers drive discovery and engage new customers through the DoorDash platform."
