Shipt has introduced a new holiday campaign called 5 Days of Delight,” featuring a festive collection of themed product lists, tips and daily deals.

5 Days of Delight kicks off on Dec. 4 with a $49 annual membership offer (originally $99). Each day of the campaign, Shipt will reveal a celebrity-curated product collection and promotions from “industry tastemakers,” according to a media release.

According to a third-party survey conducted by SWNS media group, a majority of consumers said they would outsource home decorating, gift giving and meal preparations for the holidays if they could. With this stat in mind, Shipt says its position as a same-day delivery service, coupled with expert and celebrity/influencer collaboration, could offer these consumers a preferred experience.

In addition to the half off membership offer, the 5 days of Delight collections include:

  • “Decor to Adore” with Tan France (Dec. 4): A collection of decor essentials, including faux fur throws, decorative wreaths and seasonal candles curated by fashion designer, entrepreneur and star on Netflix’s “Queer Eye.”
  • “Hosting Hacks” with Meredith Hayden (Dec. 5): A list curated by professional chef Meredith Hayden, including holiday table runners, gold-trimmed cocktail glasses and stoneware serving sets.
  • “Gifting Go-Tos” with Issa Rae (Dec. 6): A list of the actress’ holiday gifting essentials for every member of the family, including the hostess, the athlete and the traveler.
  • “Toy Tour” with Laura Izumikawa (Dec. 7): A list of gifting ideas for kids, including a FAO Schwartz pottery wheel and Nintendo Switch, from the photographer, author and mother.
  • “Steps to Self-Care” with Sazan Hendrix (Dec. 8): The Youtuber’s curated list of self-care essentials includes essential oil diffusers, skincare sets and wellness supplements.

In addition to the campaign, Shipt has also rolled out a new AI-powered search toll to make holiday shopping faster and smarter, per the release. The same SWNS study, cited by Shipt, also shows one of the holiday tasks consumers dread the most is buying gifts, so the company’s new search tool aims to help customers with gifting and entertaining ideas throughout the season this year.

Additionally, Shipt launched real-time order tracking to provide real-time updates as the shopper moves through their shopping list.

"Making the lives of our customers easier so they can have more time back to be with their loved ones is at the core of what we do here at Shipt, especially this holiday season," Alia Kemet, chief marketing officer at Shipt, said in the release. "From orchestrating memorable holiday dinners to finding that perfect gift, we know our customers are stretched thin this season. By partnering with these dynamic experts and offering valuable savings opportunities on a wide variety of product categories, including memberships, Shipt is ensuring our customers are able to enjoy a festive, stress-free holiday season."

Shipt already went live with a dedicated 5 Days of Delight shop within its website (shipt.com/seasonofsavings) ahead of the first collection drop.
