Giant Eagle's Justin Weinstein Joins GLP-1 Shopper Summit Agenda
Justin Weinstein, EVP, chief merchandising & marketing officer at Giant Eagle Inc., will take the stage at the inaugural GLP-1 Shopper Summit, taking place Nov. 12 at the Hilton Chicago.
The session, “Health as Growth: Why GLP-1 Is Reshaping Retail Strategy,” will examine how the growing adoption of GLP-1 medications is accelerating broader shifts in how consumers think about food, nutrition and wellness, and how retailers are responding.
As shoppers place greater emphasis on health and wellness, retailers are increasingly looking beyond individual products and categories to consider how health can become part of their broader business and customer strategies. The panel of retail leaders will explore how retailers are aligning merchandising, loyalty, nutrition and customer education with changing consumer behaviors.
The conversation will also examine why health is emerging as a strategic growth driver and how retailers can build lasting customer loyalty by supporting consumers' evolving health and wellness needs.
At Giant Eagle, Weinstein oversees the retailer’s corporate and go-to-market strategy, including merchandising, marketing, customer relationship management, loyalty, retail media, analytics, digital and e-commerce. Since joining the company in 2018, he has helped lead initiatives including the launch of Giant Eagle’s myPerks loyalty program, double-digit e-commerce growth and the execution of a multiyear strategic growth plan.
