Dollar General Media Network (DGMN) announced the launch of its in-store audio network at the Path to Purchase Institute's Storefronts event Thursday. The solution will be available to advertisers this fall.

DGMN will provide creative services to help make it easy for advertisers to engage, and intends to provide closed-loop sales measurement. The launch adds to DGMN’s existing portfolio of in-store advertising solutions, spanning its large 20,000 store footprint, including digitally connected in-store shelf tags and signage.

“Today, we are thrilled to announce our in-store audio network” said Molly Hjelm, head of sales, DGMN, on the Storefronts main stage. “Dollar General is the nation’s largest retailer by store count, reaching a hard-to-reach rural customer. Messaging to our shopper within our store footprint is a powerful way to inspire and drive conversion right at the point of sale and we’re excited to make this new tactic available to our advertiser partners.”
