The Beer Store is adding digital menu boards to seven drive-thru locations in Ontario.

The screens display promotions, on-sale SKUs and new beer selections. The screens are designed to be easy to navigate and invite exploration. Customers can make their purchases from their vehicle and have orders brought out to their trunk.

"This is just one of the ways we’re offering a more convenient way to purchase beer in Ontario," Roy Benin, president and CEO of The Beer Store, said in a media release. "We hope customers who live close to one of these drive-thru locations can benefit from seeing more options and selection when choosing what to purchase."

The introduction of the new technology follows the provincial government’s expansion of alcohol sales to convenience and grocery stores in September and October, respectively.

It's also offering convenience items such as snacks from Frito-Lay and Old Dutch, and energy drinks from Red Bull.
