King Kullen Taps CitrusAd to Power Retail Media
Grocery retailer King Kullen has selected CitrusAd’s retail media platform to boost its digital advertising capabilities for CPG brands.
King Kullen is recognized as America’s first supermarket by the Smithsonian Institution. Its retail media push gives brands digital advertising opportunities and measurement using CitrusAd’s self-serve platform. (Publicis Groupe acquired CitrusAd in 2021.)
With King Kullen’s first-party data combined with CitrusAd’s algorithms, brands can deliver relevant ads to consumers at scale. CitrusAd’s technology also includes fully transparent, closed-loop analytics to help determine return on ad spend (ROAS).
CitrusAd's network provides one platform for brands to reach omnichannel shoppers nationally. Sponsored product ads are available in the retailer’s most visible, top positions online for desktop and mobile, according to a media release from CitrusAd. The new retail media technology is now accessible for natively served, media inventory on King Kullen’s online shopping website.
King Kullen is the latest retailer to join CitrusAd’s growing list of companies including Albertsons Cos., Cub Foods, Lowe’s, Gopuff, Shipt, Petco, Price Chopper, Hy-Vee, Wakefern Food Corp. and Harris Teeter.
