Kantar to Explore Agentic Commerce, Future of Retail Media at RMS Canada

As artificial intelligence moves from supporting product discovery to actively influencing — and in some cases making — purchase decisions, the retail media ecosystem is approaching a fundamental shift in how value is created, measured and delivered.

That transformation will take center stage during a newly added session at the 2026 Retail Media Summit Canada, Feb. 10 at the Toronto Congress Centre.

Titled “Agentic Commerce: The Next Frontier of Retail Media,” the session will examine how AI-driven, autonomous shopper journeys are reshaping the path to purchase and forcing brands and retailers to rethink long-standing performance frameworks.

The session will be led by Amar Singh, senior director of retail insights at Kantar, who will unpack how agentic AI — systems that can act on behalf of shoppers with minimal human intervention — is changing decision-making dynamics. 

Singh will also outline emerging AI-driven shopper journeys and explore how brands and retailers must adapt their measurement strategies in an increasingly autonomous retail environment.
