Farm Boy to Open 50th Store

Farm Boy is set to open its 50th location.

The Canadian grocer's newest store will be at 3230 Fairview St. in Burlington South. It will be the Sobeys banner's 21st location in the Greater Toronto Area. All Farm Boy stores are located in Ontario.

The store will offer fresh produce (including from local farmers), butcher-quality meats, artisanal cheese from Canada and abroad, local dairy products, a variety of exclusive Farm Boy private label SKUs, a hot bar and salad bar, and an assortment of grab-and-go items. The store also offers organic, gluten-free, plant-based, vegan and vegetarian options.

“We are incredibly thrilled to open our 50th store and deeply humbled by the overwhelming support of our customers across Ontario that have made this milestone possible,” Shawn Linton, president and general manager of Farm Boy, said in a media release. “Joining the Burlington South community is a significant step for us, and we look forward to bringing our fresh-market experience to this vibrant area. Our commitment remains to deliver fresh, high-quality products at excellent value, and unparalleled customer service, while fostering a strong connection with our new neighbors.”

Farm Boy opened its 49th store in Port Credit, Mississauga, on July 18.
