Fortune Brands' spirits operations are getting ready for festive holidays with promotions for various liquors. Among activity at the company's Jim Beam Brands division: Canadian Club whiskey leverages the current poker craze by adding a commemorative six-year poker bottle and gift set to its holiday line. The bottle includes a CD of poker tips and hints delivered via neck hangers. Traditional six-year bottles come with branded rocks glasses and are packaged in a gift box with Canadian Club gift-wrapping. The brand's 12-year bottles are being offered with four branded poker chip coasters, while bottles of Canadian Club Reserve come with a deck of playing cards. Supporting P-O-P materials include pole toppers and case cards.Courvoisier VS will be offered with two branded highball glasses and Courvoisier VSOP with four rocks glasses. To target the Asian market, Courvoisier XO Imperial will be packaged in a gift box with Chinese calligraphy. Case cards featuring the brand's "Earn It" campaign slogan support in-store. Sauza Tequila will use multiple value-added packages and gift boxes. Sauza Hornitos and Sauza Commemorative are being packaged in festive gift boxes containing two branded shot glasses. A 750-milliliter bottle of Kalua is being offered with a variety of 50-milliliter Stolichnaya flavor SKUs. The brand is also offered with Jim Beam's Sauza brand in a value-added box that also includes recipes for classic Kahlua cocktails. Case cards and pole toppers will remind consumers to "Enjoy an exotic holiday season."Holiday-wrapped packaging for Beefeater's will come with a branded glass. Case cards and pole toppers support. Malibu's 750-mililiter bottles will come with three battery-operated acrylic ice cubes that light up in festive colors.
