2026 Women of Excellence Profiles: Industry Impact
Heather Campain
Vice President, Growth Strategy
Epsilon
Having spent more than two decades in commerce and shopper marketing, Heather Campain has consistently turned strategic partnerships into engines for innovation, creating programs, capabilities and ways of working that continue to deliver value long after they launch. She has helped redefine how brands collaborate with retailers, blending strategy, creativity, data and technology to drive meaningful business growth.
While at Johnson & Johnson, Campain created the "Build Your Own First Aid Kit" platform — a program that remains in market today — and continues to deliver double-digit growth year after year more than a decade after its launch. Through her work on the Target team, she helped transform the retailer into a commercial innovation hub by developing breakthrough Listerine and baby care programs that reshaped collaboration between global brand teams and merchants through design, influencer marketing and joint business planning. Then, during her time at PepsiCo, she led a joint value transformation initiative with Walmart that strengthened one of the industry's most important retail partnerships and established a new model for collaborative growth.
Now with Epsilon since 2024, she helps organizations harness data, retail media, customer intelligence and measurement to create stronger customer relationships and unlock sustainable growth. Her ability to translate emerging technologies into practical business strategies has made her a trusted adviser to clients navigating a rapidly evolving commerce landscape.
Campain’s influence extends well beyond her client work. Through her Substack, "The Translation Layer," she publishes original perspectives on the trends reshaping retail, marketing and technology, helping industry leaders make sense of an increasingly complex landscape. She is deeply committed to sharing knowledge, mentoring emerging talent and elevating the broader marketing community.
Katie Daleo
General Manager and Senior Director, CPG Ads and Promotions
DoorDash
Katie Daleo has been instrumental in building the DoorDash Ads business — from its inception as an emerging retail media and restaurant growth offering in 2021 to one of the industry's most innovative full-funnel commerce media platforms across restaurants, CPGs and new cohorts. She has helped scale DoorDash Ads across more than 40 countries while supporting the company's growth as a leading third-party delivery platform for grocery and retail. Under her leadership, DoorDash Ads has evolved from a traditional on-site retail media offering into a full-funnel commerce media platform.
Daleo and her team played a key role in scoping and commercializing Spotlight, the company's immersive homepage advertising experience, and global off-site media activation powered by Symbiosys, expanding how brands engage consumers throughout the end-to-end purchase journey. She also championed recent launches, including LiveRamp-powered clean room measurement and sales lift measurement, to help brands better understand incrementality and make more informed media investment decisions. In practice, Kellanova leveraged DoorDash's measurement capabilities to validate a 2.9 times incremental ROAS and 45.7% sales lift.
Daleo helped drive the adoption of advanced targeting and AI-powered optimization solutions, including DoubleDash and cross-category targeting capabilities like Dish Interest Targeting, capitalizing on DoorDash's unique view of the consumer for advertisers. Through these innovations, she has helped advance the industry's approach to targeting, measurement and commerce media effectiveness, establishing new standards for how brands connect with consumers and evaluate performance.
Daleo regularly is a speaker at events including Cannes Lions, Adweek and Path to Purchase Institute conferences, where she guides how marketers think about the next evolution of commerce media. By championing closed-loop measurement, purchase-intent data, AI-enabled optimization, and the integration of media and promotions, she has helped marketers rethink how commerce media drives business outcomes.
Sonja Evans
Senior Vice President, Strategic Planning and Research
Blue Chip
Sonja Evans helps brands shift from short-term execution toward more connected strategies while also shaping how the broader industry understands modern commerce. Through her thought leadership, she has become a clear and influential voice in commerce marketing.
In her 2026 trend presentation work for clients including Brown Forman, Bob's Red Mill, Molson Coors and Lamb Weston, she identifies the shift from product-led shopping to occasion-based decision making, helping marketers see that as AI compresses the purchase journey, growth depends less on planning around who the shopper has been and more on understanding the needs, contexts and decision moments shaping what they will do next. Her perspective has also appeared in Business Insider, Industry Dive and Grocery Dive in 2026, where she reinforces that AI is not a substitute for strategy, but an amplifier of it. That commitment to clear strategy also defines her presence in forums including ANA, Sweets & Snacks Expo and the Council for Responsible Nutrition, where she challenges over-engineered marketing strategies and reinforces the value of disciplined strategic thinking.
Working with E. & J. Gallo Winery, Evans has led the development and rollout of frameworks that establish a new foundation for how their brands approach long-term growth. She is also helping shape planning and go-to-market strategy through brand development efforts for Alexia and Grown in Idaho frozen potatoes, changing how brands define their audience, identify opportunity and structure investment.
With more than 15 years' experience at Blue Chip, Evans is recognized as a strong leader and mentor who instills junior strategists with the strategic thinking and clarity that has defined her own success. She was promoted to her current post in May.
Betsy Fitzgibbons
Senior Shopping Insights Lead – DCOM
Mars Snacking
Betsy Fitzgibbons has more than 20 years of global experience in the CPG industry. Her focus is driving future-facing retail strategies and identifying new opportunity spaces, based on actionable insights. She created Mars Digital Store Labs (MDSL), a cutting-edge research capability and test program that leverages realistic, replica digital sites and apps across the globe to deeply understand real online shopper behavior. MDSL is comprised of 20 store labs across various digital channels, actively testing hypotheses to identify best practice and new online growth opportunities for Mars Snacking and its retail partners.
This proprietary research capability has accelerated the company's digital expertise and empowered Mars with actionable behavioral insights and best practices. MDSL has been used for custom testing on crucial elements like eCheckout, taxonomy and content, leading to significant site improvements and increased sales.
She has also led research during her nearly eight-year tenure at the company to learn what shoppers think about shopping online using neuroscience and eye-tracking, and what online content positively stimulates the brain and gets noticed on a website. She translates her research into strategic narratives that Mars associates and retail partners can immediately understand and act upon.
Fitzgibbons partnered with her stakeholders to understand their business challenges and insight needs, and she identified innovative ways to conduct foundational digital commerce shopper insights research, working side by side with research vendors on what methodology should be used to solve her research needs. Voice (AI) commerce, on-demand delivery and online purchase decision trees were three key areas from which she conducted the first-ever Mars Voice campaign. She also devised a four-phase research plan in five countries to understand the on-demand delivery (ODD) channel, its shoppers and how treats and snacks fit into shopping on those apps. The insights opened doors for her and her stakeholders to have strategic discussions with ODD top management.
Fitzgibbons has also conducted online Confectionery Purchase Decision Trees (PDTs) for Mars to understand how confectionery shoppers make their purchase decisions online. The findings have led to major changes being made to websites/apps to improve the online shopping experience for confectionery shoppers, have improved the company’s online content and guidelines, and led to better partnerships with retailers.

Molly Hop
Managing Partner, Havas Market
Havas Media Network North America
Over the past year, Molly Hop has led the evolution of Havas Market into a cornerstone capability, embedding retail media and commerce into full-funnel strategies that unify planning, analytics and activation. Her work has redefined retail media from a tactical execution channel into a strategic growth driver – one that connects cultural relevance to measurable business outcomes. Hop has not only elevated her organization's capabilities but has also influenced how the broader industry understands and operationalizes commerce within the marketing mix.
Through the integration of commerce capabilities into Converged.AI, the Havas Media Network operating system, Hop has embedded e-commerce thinking directly into the foundational frameworks that power client strategy and execution. This advancement has redefined how brands approach discoverability, performance and growth in an increasingly fragmented landscape, establishing a new standard for how commerce intelligence should be operationalized across organizations.
Under her leadership, Havas integrated Skai's AI-powered omnichannel commerce platform directly into Converged.AI, creating a fully unified workflow that seamlessly connects audience intelligence, planning, activation and measurement within a single environment. Hop also played a key role in the acquisition of retail media agency Channel Bakers, strengthening Havas Market's ability to unify content, commerce and media under one integrated offering.
Her published perspectives in Forbes and The Drum explore how AI is transforming brand discoverability and compressing the path to purchase, offering actionable frameworks that help marketers adapt to rapidly shifting consumer behaviors. She participates in premier industry forums, including ShopTalk, GroceryShop, Zeta Live and Cannes Lions, where she contributes to critical conversations on the evolution of commerce, AI-driven discovery and full-funnel integration. She also serves on the Commerce Board of Directors for the IAB, working to define industry standards that support transparent, accountable and adaptable commerce practices.
Sally Lyons Wyatt
Global Executive Vice President and Chief Adviser, Consumer Goods & Foodservice Insights
Circana
Sally Lyons Wyatt has spent more than three decades helping the consumer goods, retail and foodservice industries understand consumer behavior, including her most recent leadership around GLP-1s and how weight-loss medications could affect food, beverage, retail and foodservice. Her work found that GLP-1 users are not just shrinking their baskets, they are changing what they buy, where they shop, what benefits they prioritize and how they think about food and beverage occasions. Instead of treating GLP-1s as a threat to demand, Lyons Watt helped the industry understand them as a catalyst for rethinking assortment, product claims, packaging, channel strategy and shopper messaging.
Her work on SNAP shoppers has shown the industry that SNAP households are a large, high frequency and highly important shopper segment. Her guidance has helped retailers and brands think more strategically about how to serve these households through in-store and online education, budget-friendly meal solutions, recipes, shopping lists, targeted offers, meal kits, private label and national brand combinations, and smarter pack-size, pricing and promotion strategies.
Lyons Watt has also done work on selective consumption and the evolving snackscape shows that consumers are balancing value, convenience, wellness, flavor, emotional reward, social influence and digital discovery. Her insights help brands and retailers make more informed decisions about package sizes, variety packs, lower entry points, premium positioning, product claims, social commerce and omnichannel conversion.
Through Circana's New Product Pacesetters work, she is providing manufacturers and retailers with a fact-based view of the benefits, claims, occasions and experiences that are driving growth — from high-protein demand and elevated everyday products to immersive experiences and unexpected collaborations. These insights help companies pressure-test innovation pipelines and better understand what it takes to earn consumer attention, trial and repeat purchase.
Kelly Miller
Senior Vice President, Commerce EMEA
Flywheel
Kelly Miller oversees a team of 250 commerce experts across the UK, Europe and India, and has played a central role in shaping Flywheel’s European growth story. Since joining Flywheel's London office in 2019, she has helped scale the organization from a nascent presence into a more-than-200-person regional operation, anchored in capability, culture and commercial performance. Her leadership is rooted in a clear philosophy — delegate opportunities and build capability through trust, feedback and deliberate development.
Miller has navigated 11 acquisitions within Flywheel, culminating in the integration into Omnicom, and she has consistently maintained organizational stability during periods where attrition and disruption are typically high. During the 2024 acquisition year, when most organizations saw a significant dip in retention, she helped maintain retention levels; once she stepped into full leadership, she improved that retention 5% over 12 months, while also delivering a 2.4 basis points' improvement in regional margin within a single year.
A key part of this success has been the introduction of Flywheel's Team Advocates initiative in EMEA, creating a structured, two-way feedback mechanism between leadership and employees. This has strengthened transparency, trust and engagement across all levels of the organization and has contributed to a more resilient and scalable operating model that has been shared internally as a best practice across regions.
In January 2026, Flywheel EMEA achieved standalone recognition in Amazon's Preferred Partner Program, based entirely on regional capability and performance rather than dependence on U.S.-led agency scale.
Across each stage, Miller's impact has extended beyond team leadership into defining how commerce organizations structure themselves, build processes, develop talent and deliver value to brands.
Tiffany Pieja
Senior Manager, Permanent Merchandising
The Hershey Co.
Tiffany Pieja's work directly shapes how retailers and suppliers approach the in-store experience, category growth and responsible design. She led the refresh of Hershey's candy beacon end cap program, challenging a decade-old legacy design using shopper insights and research, and partnering with vendors to evaluate multiple design concepts. She rebuilt the strategy around current shopper expectations and operational needs, resulting in record high customer commitments and increased category and Hershey sales with reduced installation labor and improved sustainability.
Pieja also led Hershey's first Permanent Secondary Display Sustainability Summit. She established sustainability guidelines, drove supplier alignment on reducing unnecessary components, improved pallet efficiency and encouraged recyclable/responsible substrates. Her work created a repeatable operating model for sustainable display development, influenced supplier behavior and long-term design standards, and positioned Hershey as a leader in responsible merchandising.
She has been instrumental in driving Hershey's transformation from CMG to CMG/Salty to fully embrace its ONE Hershey Leading Snacking Powerhouse strategy. The team she leads works with suppliers to design, develop and execute permanent secondary displays to drive space expansion, share gains and sales growth across all channels to deliver to the consumer a fun and happy retail experience.
She has successfully led her team in transitioning more than 20 different permanent secondary displays to support the company's overall strategy. She has personally designed and developed displays that involve brand characters that have powerful stopping power. Pieja has also led a major update to the company's sales catalog to give the sales team the necessary tools to engage with the customer and deliver powerful retail solutions. She has been at the company for nearly 10 years. Prior, she held roles at Campbell's and, more recently, Burt's Bees.
