Walmart is rolling out an exclusive, creator-led footwear and apparel collection for Avia, set to land at the retailer in early 2027.

Curated by collaborator Bimma Williams and his creative firm, Bimma & Co., the "Collab Camp" program brings together four creators spanning art, design, content and streetwear to refresh the heritage activewear brand. Each creator developed a capsule exploring themes of pride, self-determination, human connection and creative expression.

The four creators are:

  • StayFocused Frank: Turned hometown pride into the Avia 5250 "For The City," a love letter to Malden, Massachusetts, aka "The Den." Inspired by family, hoops, and ’90s and 2000s athletics.

  • Jewel Ham: Channeled self-determination into the Avia 5000 "Get It Out The Mud," with rich neutrals and jewel tones pulled straight from her paintings, celebrating each small win on the way to where you're headed.

  • Bailey Hikawa: The artist and industrial designer explored connection with the Avia 5000 "Unexpected Connection," featuring dots and cutouts placed across the shoe and coordinating fashion pieces.

  • Eric Lee of Superfine: Designed the Avia 855 "Blank By Design" to celebrate creative expression. The all-white sneaker is left blank on purpose, so the wearer can keep it as-is or make it their own.

"The best collaborations start with people and the stories they carry, and Collab Camp proves that," Williams said in a news release. "We brought four creators into one room for 48 hours, and what was supposed to be a fast-paced design workshop turned into something that felt like summer camp."

Each capsule includes coordinating apparel and accessories. The collection is priced to be accessible, with sneakers at $30 and apparel and accessories ranging from $15 to $40.

"We believe that great style and quality should be within reach, and that access shouldn't come at the expense of great design," said Jason Jarrell, vice president, footwear, Walmart U.S. "Working with Bimma Williams and this talented group of creators allows us to bring customers original, story-driven sneakers with the kind of design and cultural relevance they're looking for, at a price and scale that makes this limited-time Avia collaboration accessible."

The collection was unveiled during ComplexCon in Los Angeles earlier this month.
