Retail Media Power Panel to Tackle Scaling Impact at GroceryTech 2026
Retail media has evolved into an enterprise capability that spans data, platforms and the physical store. At GroceryTech 2026, being held May 12-14 in Charlotte, North Caroline, a featured Retail Media Power Players panel will examine how grocery leaders are evolving their programs to meet that reality.
The session will feature Liz Roche, VP of media and measurement at Albertsons Media Collective, and Heather Feather, senior director of digital, e-commerce and retail media at Giant Eagle. Jackie Barba, senior editor at the Path to Purchase Institute, will moderate the discussion.
Among the topics Roche and Feather will address include the growing pressure around measurement, particularly the need to prove incrementality and connect media exposure to real sales outcomes across the full shopper journey, including in-store.
Together, they will offer a practical look at how retail media is being built and scaled inside grocery organizations today, spanning measurement and audience targeting to e-commerce and in-store integration.
Roche leads efforts to build more transparent measurement and advanced audience targeting capabilities, with a focus on delivering performance-driven media for brand partners.
Feather oversees a broad digital and commerce ecosystem, including e-commerce platforms and retail media, giving her a cross-functional view of how these capabilities connect across the business.
Barba brings an industry lens to the discussion, grounded in ongoing coverage of retail media, shopper marketing and commerce strategy.

Centered on the theme “Agents of Change: Customer-First Commerce for the Next Era of Grocery,” the agenda focuses on how grocers are applying AI and advanced analytics, improving store execution, connecting retail media with e-commerce and in-store experiences, and building stronger data foundations.
In addition to keynotes and panels, the event includes an interactive store tour and is intentionally limited to qualified retail executives, with select CPG participation and sponsor-only access for solution providers to maintain a highly curated, high-value environment.
