Whole Foods Market Canada Partners With Too Good To Go

The Path to Purchase Institute is partnering with Loblaw Advance for its second Retail Media Summit Canada event. Industry leaders, innovators and experts in retail and advertising are gathering Feb. 19 in Toronto to discuss the latest trends, challenges and technologies shaping the future of omnichannel marketing and retail media in Canada and across the globe.
In July 2024, 495 U.S. Whole Foods locations were added to the app. The addition of the Canadian stores brings the Too Good To Go option to 530 Whole Foods locations throughout North America.
"Food waste reduction is integral to our purpose to nourish people and the planet. We’ve pledged to cut our food waste in half by 2030 by minimizing food waste in our stores and increasing access to food in our local communities," Caitlin Leibert, vice president of sustainability at Whole Foods Market, said in a release. "Our collaboration with Too Good To Go builds on this work by increasing access to good food at a great value and we’re thrilled to bring this program to our Canadian customers."
