Sharpie Helps NFL Rookie Jeremiyah Love Emerge
Newell Brands’ Sharpie has introduced new creative featuring its permanent markers and S-Gel pens along with National Football League rookie running back Jeremiyah Love.
The effort blends storytelling with product integration, reinforcing the brand's connection to football as the first whistles this month signal the start of the NFL regular season.
It's the third year of the Sharpie Rookie of the Year program, which puts the brand and its writing tools alongside emerging football stars, from signing their first professional contracts to connecting with fans and creating moments that make a lasting impact.
The creative will run throughout the season across social and digital media and connected TV. Centered on the mindset "Demand High Performance. Every Day," it celebrates Love's journey to the NFL.
The campaign follows the former University of Notre Dame standout from preparation to performance, showing how consistency and focus build toward the moments that matter most, from notes and game plans to autographs and career-defining signatures. Sharpie permanent markers and S-Gel pens are positioned as tools that help put that preparation into action.
Messaging highlights the S-Gel pen’s bold, vibrant ink and no-smear, no-bleed technology, which the company says is critical for game-day situations.

After being selected third in the NFL draft in April by the Arizona Cardinals, Love signed his first professional contract using a Sharpie S-Gel pen.
