The Fresh Market Revamps Rewards Program, Launches Mobile App
The Fresh Market Inc. is entering the online arena with two digital debuts: a rebranded loyalty program dubbed “TFM Rewards,” and the grocer's first-ever native mobile app.
According to CMO Emily Turner, the app functions as a one-stop digital hub for Fresh Market shoppers looking to discover new products, inspire their next meals or access their loyalty accounts.
"With our new app, we're giving both members and guests a more complete experience, with easy access to more deals, special offers and the engaging content that sets us apart," said Turner.
The specialty retailer's updated rewards program serves a wider menu of member benefits, including a 5% discount on curbside orders, expanded in-store savings, personalized offers, boosted birthday rewards and special member events. Members can manage their TFM Rewards profile through either the new app or the chain’s website.
"TFM Rewards was redesigned to provide our loyal guests with more value, more personalization and more engagement, making it easier than ever to shop at The Fresh Market," Turner said. "Everything we do begins with our guests and our promise to make everyday eating extraordinary. These digital enhancements reflect that promise, helping us serve, support and celebrate our guests in new and thoughtful ways."
This digital push comes on the heels of several successful openings for The Fresh Market, including a second location in Pittsburgh and another in South Florida. It also picked up the top spot in USA Today's 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards for best grocery store in the country, where it swept every major category and earned some additional accolades for specialty retail and customer service.
Based in Greensboro, North Carolina, The Fresh Market operates more than 170 grocery stores in 22 states, and one Spirits & Wine store.
