Canada-based Asian grocer T&T Supermarket revealed plans to open a San Francisco location.

The Loblaw banner recently opened its first U.S. location, a flagship store in Bellevue, Washington, and a Toronto store, both to extensive fanfare. It also has two other stateside stores in the works — one in San Jose, California, and the other in Lynnwood, Washington.

The San Francisco store will be located at 2675 Geary Blvd., at the San Francisco City Center. It is expected to open in early 2026.

"The city offers a unique and eclectic food scene, and the neighborhood we’ve chosen is a vibrant retail hub. We’re looking forward to serving food-loving San Franciscans with our fresh foods, delicious meals, and baked goods," Tina Lee, CEO of T&T Supermarkets, said in a media release.

The store will offer a variety of food options and services, including more than 200 T&T private-label products and customer favorites such as Xiao Long Bao (pork soup dumplings), Korean kalbi marinade, green onion pancakes and seaweed snacks.

A fast casual restaurant will feature authentic Asian dishes, including specialties such as Peking Duck, Crispy Papa Chicken, barbecue items and a sushi counter.

The T&T bakery will offer more than 150 varieties of freshly baked bread and more than 50 desserts and pastries, including viral treats such as Napoleon Portuguese Egg Tarts, Mango Pomelo Swiss Rolls and Lava Mochi Puffs.

The San Francisco location also will have an extensive selection of wines and spirits, with a special focus on Korean soju and Japanese sake.

T&T Supermarket is the largest Asian supermarket in Canada, operating more than 38 stores in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Quebec and Washington state.
