Mountain Dew Celebrates Baseball's Blasts
PepsiCo’s Mountain Dew Baja Blast, the official soft drink of the 2026 Major League Baseball season, has brought a fan promotion to ballparks nationwide.
The brand is encouraging fans to visit BajaBlastHomeRuns.com, its promotional site, to add a Mountain Dew Baja Blast Card to their mobile wallet.
Then, any time a major-league player hits a qualifying home run (420 feet or more), fans can scan their card at a participating retailer or any MLB stadium the day after the home run is hit to redeem a free 20-ounce bottle of Baja Blast or Baja Blast Zero Sugar.
Fans can follow the Baja Blast leaderboard on the brand’s official website or at MLB.com. The leaderboard updates in real time with every qualifying home run.
The promotion runs until Sept. 27, or until 500,000 bottles are redeemed, with a limit of five redemptions per user.
Vouchers can be redeemed at major retailers including Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, Dollar General, Family Dollar, Kroger, Safeway, Publix and Save-A-Lot.
"Baseball is built on big moments — big hits, big catches and big swings — and Mountain Dew Baja Blast is bringing the big sips to match," Michael Smith, Mountain Dew’s vice president of marketing, said in a media release.
Furthermore, Mountain Dew is collaborating with baseball glove manufacturer Rawlings to let fans buy their own limited-edition glove that features teal leather with gold accents, highlighting the signature colors of Baja Blast. The glove is available on Rawlings.com for $399.99.
"Rawlings has been part of baseball’s biggest moments for over a century, and as two proud partners of Major League Baseball this season, teaming up with Mountain Dew Baja Blast to create something special for fans felt like a natural fit," said Michael Thompson, chief marketing officer for Rawlings Sporting Goods.
