Old Spice, Walmart Collaborate to Celebrate Class of 2026
Procter & Gamble’s Old Spice brand partnered with Walmart again this year to recognize consumers throughout the graduation season. The initiative includes store-level activations that encourage shoppers to support mentorship, celebrate academic achievement and connect with community programs.
The fourth annual "School of Swagger" graduation event at Florida Memorial University on June 4 celebrated this year's class from the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami, recognizing the students' academic achievements along with the mentors who supported them.
Old Spice brought in sports analyst and reporter, Andraya Carter, a former student-athlete at the University of Tennessee. She joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami President and CEO Gale Nelson for an on-stage discussion.
The event is a cornerstone of Old Spice and Walmart's multiyear program dedicated to expanding youth mentorship networks, boosting academic retention, and empowering young people with the confidence and support throughout their education and career journeys.
The initiative is being promoted in Walmart stores on dedicated "School of Swagger" signage and displays highlighting the partnership. Old Spice products are merchandised near the promotional materials, with select displays incorporating the event's theme of mentorship and confidence.
"For years, Old Spice and Walmart have worked alongside Big Brothers Big Sisters to support students through mentorship and confidence-building programs," Kate DiCarlo, senior communications director at P&G, said in a news release. "The 'School of Swagger' initiative is rooted in the belief that every young person deserves a strong support system and access to mentors who can help guide them toward their goals."
Walmart's national rollout includes in-aisle and checkout flyers and posters, Old Spice product bundles or discounts tied to the campaign, and QR codes that consumers can use to access event videos or mentorship resources.
"Mentorship has played a huge role in my own journey," said Carter. "I'm grateful to now be in a position where I can pour back into the next generation and encourage young people to believe in themselves and chase what's possible. I'm honored to partner with Old Spice and Big Brothers Big Sisters through the 'School of Swagger' program to celebrate these students and the incredible impact mentors can have on young people's lives."
The celebration recognized key milestones for the Class of 2026, highlighting program pillars including academic milestones, community and brand integrations through product experiences.
