In anticipation of America’s 250th birthday festivities this summer, The Hershey Co. is offering some celebrations of its own. The chocolatier is encouraging consumers to add Hershey, Pennsylvania, to their road trip itineraries.

Its Hershey’s Chocolate World, located alongside company headquarters, will feature consumer experiences this summer, May 22 through Sept. 7.

A refreshed experience includes the Great American Chocolate Bar Tour Ride, as well as a reimagined version of the original "Hershey's Great American Chocolate Bar" theme song. Additionally, there will be Americana-inspired touches like updated decor in the barnyard scene.

The site will also host a custom Liberty Bell as part of Pennsylvania's statewide "Bells Across PA" program. The design highlights Dauphin County's (where Hershey headquarters are located) rich heritage, tourism and agricultural roots. The bell will be on display at Hershey's Chocolate World through December 2026.

"Breakfast with Hersh and Friends" on select days later in June is a new, family-friendly experience debuting this summer. There will be a buffet, character parade, a DJ-led dance party and a Hershey's Kisses scavenger hunt, along with photo opportunities and a chance for visitors to explore Hershey’s Amazing Candy Machine.

"Hershey's Chocolate World has been a must-stop on the ultimate American road trip for decades," Laura Renaud, senior marketing manager at The Hershey Co., said in a media release. "This summer, we're giving families even more reasons to pull over and stay awhile at the home of the great American chocolate bar … and a new bonus bundle that makes it easier than ever to experience it all for less.”

The "Summer Bonus Bundle," which can be redeemed June 1-28, saves guests 30%. It includes a create-your-own candy bar, Hershey's Great Candy Expedition tour ride, Hershey's Unwrapped theater and one sweet treat voucher.

The brand is also hoping to entice consumers through campfire staples like s'mores and barbecue classics, as well as treats that can only be bought at the attraction, including Hershey's S'mores Pie; Classic Cheesecake Inspired by Hershey's Nuggets; and Red, White and Berry Parfait.

The brand is promoting the experience on Hershey's Chocolate World website and social channels, including Instagram and TikTok.
