Tractor Supply Promotes Its Emerging Artist Program on Screens
Tractor Supply Co. has teamed with video network GSTV in an effort to connect with fans of country music. The retailer is spotlighting the latest winner of its “Life Out Here” Emerging Artist program in video content at designated fuel pumps.
Starting this month and running through June, GSTV screens within a 25-mile radius of select Tractor Supply locations in Tennessee and Texas and throughout the Nashville designated market area will air content featuring Americana and country singer-songwriter Gloria Anderson.
Timed to the release of Anderson's new album, “Run of the Mill,” and near her hometown of Luling, Texas, the effort is being amplified across markets with a strong Tractor Supply presence.
The retailer wants customers to know it supports emerging talent and storytellers who reflect the values of its community — through content created to drive fans to Anderson’s music and engage with her social channels. Produced in collaboration with the network’s Ignite studio, the content also reminds fans about Tractor Supply’s commitment to local rural culture.
“Giving up-and-coming artists a big break is a natural extension of how we care for the communities that live ‘Life Out Here,’” Kimberly Gardiner, senior vice president and chief marketing officer of Tractor Supply Co., said in a release. "Partnering with GSTV gives [Anderson] a platform to share her story and music — and a meaningful way for us to celebrate the local talent that makes these communities so special.”
The partnership is the latest example of GSTV supporting emerging artists. The company has partnered with various music labels to bring rising talent in front of consumers.
“Our audience is highly engaged while they fuel up, and music is one of the most powerful ways to create an emotional connection in that moment,” said Kristina Lutz, GSTV’s chief marketing officer. “It’s a great example of how storytelling, music and retail can come together in a way that elevates artists, engages audiences and delivers meaningful brand impact.”
