In-Store Experience: The 'Clublix' Publix
Publix has opened a supermarket in Wellington, Florida, that has social media abuzz, dubbing it “Clublix” for its extensive offerings.
The 58,834-square-foot store, located at the Courtyard Shops, 13880 Wellington Trace, opened its doors in November.
In addition to grocery, dairy, frozen food, seafood, meat and fresh produce, the Wellington supermarket boasts a full-service bakery, deli, floral department and pharmacy.
It also houses a Pours cafe and bar (one of 16 in Florida), where shoppers can grab smoothies, coffee, kombucha, teas, cold brews, draft beer and wine, which they can enjoy in the cafe or take along to sip as they shop. A Publix Liquors is adjacent.
The store also has burrito, pizza, pasta, poke and popcorn bars as well as upstairs and outdoor seating. Bloggers and locals have been talking up the food options on TikTok and Instagram via #Clublix.

A full-service deli counter stocked with cured meats, more than 200 domestic and international artisan cheeses, and a wide assortment of olives, antipastos and hummus.
A bakery that offers cakes, cookies and pies as well as wedding cakes and decorated desserts. Breads and rolls are baked throughout the day.
A produce department that includes organic and locally grown options.
Ready-to-cook options for customers on the go.
Chef-prepared sushi selections.
A wine department stocked with premium and specialty wines both from the U.S. and around the world.
A full-service pharmacy, which also includes body care products, vitamins and supplements as well as a drive-thru.
To mark the grand opening, a large, motorized Publix shopping cart traveled around the community.
