The PC company has seen a surge in demand for self-service solutions that integrate digital experiences into brick-and-mortar retail operations.

The marketplace will enable consumers to purchase digital art attached to Mattel’s iconic brands, including Barbie and Hot Wheels.

Described as “inspirational destinations,” Best Buy’s immersive format includes dedicated demo areas, brand shops including for Lego and more space for Geek Squad services.

An immersive pop-up experience showcased LG Electronics' premium Signature brand at a South Korean venue where LG recently sponsored two shows.

Similar in size and appearance to a modern AT&T store, the format offers what Best Buy calls a “digital-first shopping experience” to shoppers in North Carolina.

The new offerings include a larger collection of hearing devices, an interactive in-store experience at 300 stores, and an online hearing assessment tool on BestBuy.com

Best Buy is testing a new, digitally enabled store format in Monroe, North Carolina, complete with expanded fulfillment options and a seven-foot-tall digital display that greets shoppers.
