Comments: These disposable, colorful 3-D covers fit over the retailers' video cassette players. They were produced in just two weeks to coincide with the release of a new video game. After designing small prototypes, the artwork was created in Adobe Photoshop, sized, sent directly to film, mounted to chipboard, die cut and assembled.

Comments: The natural look of unfinished wood and finger-joint construction make the display stand out in a field dominated by plastic. Combining the foundation and dramming units reduces on-counter space.

Comments: Twelve different product facings are hung on custom-designed hooks that have half-moon-shaped, hot-stamped ends that will accept only the client's packaging. The injection-molded, color-selection wheel features actual hair samples.

Comments: This display was designed to work in 10 countries that utilize five different languages. The mechanized knife conveys basic product features. Custom signs on the base explain key points for local markets. A special UV inhibitor keeps the red plastic from fading. International voltage problems are solved with a 110/120 switch and a custom motor that handles both currents.

Comments: The client wanted an updated, lighted merchandising environment with a larger field of view for the product inside. The resulting four-sided design uses a clear plexiglass wrap. One panel is hinged for easy access, but can be secured with a turn-barrel lock. The molded spinner base is not motorized, so customers can examine the products at their own pace.
