SEC Reviews Staples' Allowance Accounting

According to an Associated Press report, the Securities & Exchange Commission is conducting an informal review of the accounting practices for vendor payments at Staples, Inc. Other Northeast-based retailers included in the review are CVS Corp. and BJ's Wholesale Club, according to reports.
