Comments: Designed specifically to fit within merchandising requirements for Staples stores, this floorstand showcases online subscriptions to The Wall Street Journal. Although subscriptions are available for purchase online, this display helped to make consumers aware of the service.

Comments: Because this display must be moved frequently to different Scholastic book fairs in schools, it was designed with casters for easy mobility and hinged panels that swing open for quick set-up. Interchangeable graphics and durable aluminum construction help to extend the life of the permanent display. The company is testing 22 of the displays this spring and will evaluate a broader rollout based on reaction from the field.

Comments: Showcasing DK's "Smithsonian Animal" title, this floorstand features a 6-foot corrugated lizard coated with a special laminate that makes it appear to have scales. The lizard's arms and feet are corrugated lug-ons, and the wire rack frame is surrounded by corrugated printed to resemble wood grain. The display's unique look helped it to get placed in some non-traditional outlets such as airport stores, the company says.
