  • Delphi Navigational System Counter Display

    Client: Delphi Electronics, Troy, Mich.
    Producer: Array, Los Angeles
    Duration: Semipermanent
    Size of Run: 700
Comments: Because the product costs more than $1,000, theft-prevention was a key client objective. A retractable cord attached to a metal plate at the base of the unit secures the product while enabling consumers to handle the item. The initial order called for 200 units. However, after seeing a prototype, the client decided on 700. Sales, according to the entrant company, are "exceeding forecasts by almost 300%."
