Comments: The display had to have modular flexibility to merchandise the Reebok Classic line of shoes on slatwall. A "classic" look was achieved by the soft-rounded wood corners of the units. And by featuring graphic illustrations on the back panels from the national print campaign, the selling message for the line was further reinforced.

Comments: With only six weeks to produce 3,000 units, the production schedule didn't provide sufficient time to create new tooling. What normally would have been injection molded or roto-casted was hand fabricated. Sheet plastic was cut and heat formed in the dimensions of a ski tip.

Comments: The use of Lucite Optitex on the doors simulates a glass feeling. A finished-wood main structure supports the Optitex doors, adding to the unit's architectural look.

Comments: The combined use of backlit clear acrylic and reflective acrylic parallel the uniqueness of the product. The reflective properties of the acrylic denote the product's clean, light taste.

Comments: Since the electrical codes for over 12 foreign markets were needed, the interior housing provided for the variety of electrical components. If leaking did occur, parts were molded to channel water away from the electrical components.

Comments: The entire project was designed, manufactured and delivered to 1,600 locations in four weeks. The display had to explain the technology, give a feel for the product and create store traffic.
