  • Northwest Baggage Sizing Unit

More than 800 Northwest Airlines terminals were outfitted with new baggage measuring displays in early 1997. Used internationally by the airline, the units allow officials to limit the size of all carry-on baggage for compliance with airline regulations. The base of each display is made of a melamine-finished, engineered board with chrome accent/protective edging. Each display measures 26 inches wide, 32 inches high and 12 inches deep and is constructed to withstand the abuse and constant use at some of the world's busiest airports.
