    Client: Thomasville Furniture Industries, Thomasville, N.C.
    Producer: Cormark, Elk Grove Village, Ill.
    Comments: This display was designed to establish Thomasville as a premium cabinet line at The Home Depot. It features whole kitchen solutions rather than just cabinets by presenting sample cabinet doors, hardware, wood colors, wallpaper and paint colors. End-use photography also helps consumers decide which combinations are best for them.

  • Cover Girl Smoothers

    Client: Procter & Gamble Worldwide - Canada, Toronto
    Producer: Array Marketing Croup, IDMD Design and Manufacturing Division, Toronto
    Comments: This display features special effects paper to create the look of water and help cut through the clutter consumers face at the cosmetics counter. A new technique was used to join the backers to the co-poly bases.

  • Unicru/Hirelink Employment Kiosk

    Client: Unicru/Decision Point Systems, Beaverton, Ore.
    Producer: Frank Mayer & Associates, Grafton, Wis.
    Comments: This rotationally molded plastic and fabricated metal kiosk allows prospective retail employees to apply for jobs at the store. Web technology allows the retailer to receive HR qualifications within 15 minutes. Each unit is designed with custom graphics unique to the retail chain.

  • H-E-B Back-to-School Bus Display

    Client: H.E. Butt Grocery Stores, San Antonio, Texas
    Producer: AG Industries, Cleveland
    Comments: Although this super-sized display features more than 60 SKUs and 2,400 pieces of product, it fits neatly on two edge-to-edge 40-inch by 48-inch pallets. AG worked directly with Bic, Crayola and Mead to develop the display. It holds 18 feet of pegged product and can be seen easily from anywhere in the store.

  • Nabisco Grinch Photo Blanket

    Client: Nabisco Biscuit and Snacks Group of Kraft Foods, East Hanover, N.J.
    Producer: 3 Strikes Custom Design, Stamford, Conn.
    Comments: Suspended from stores' ceilings, these Matrix Display Systems Photo Banner Blankets used the exact imagery that Universal Studios used for its national media and P-O-P campaigns. Some retailers used the blankets as customer giveaways after the promotion was over.
