Sam's Club

The warehouse club has been abuzz with activity as of late, including:

  • Reporting that its Member's Mark Community has tripled in size over the last two years. Today, its 150,000-plus participants — all Sam's Club members are welcome to join — get to trial, test, taste and give feedback and ideas on Sam's Club's private label offerings. 
  • Launching a new campaign. "Come Join Us" features actor Jason Sudeikis, IndyCar Series driver Kyle Kirkwood and former and current soccer players Alex Morgan and Trinity Rodman. The campaign is running on social, digital and broadcast platforms.
  • Unveiling updated company branding that includes a new logo and typeface.

Lowe's

The home improvement retailer recently has:

  • Launched Material Lists, an AI-enabled tool that converts handwritten notes, photos, spreadsheets and other file types into quote-ready orders. 
  • Expanded its partnership with digital creator MrBeast, adding DIY toy projects for children of rewards members.

Meijer

The Midwest mass merchant has introduced Northline Supply, a private label offering affordable, heavy-duty workwear. Cold-weather SKUs will land later this year.

Target

Target has collaborations and customer experiences in mind, such as:

  • Celebrating 30 years of Pokemon with its second drop of exclusives, described as a "love letter" to fans. Content creators also are returning to share the news. 
  • Introducing new shopping carts, designed with ergonomic handles, easier maneuverability, a more secure child seat, more space for basket goods, and larger cupholders.
  • Continuing with its strategy to become a grocery destination. In the first quarter, Target added approximately 3,000 new food items, with a focus on trending flavors and shoppers' health and wellness needs.
