  • Miller Genuine Draft Ice Block Lamp

    Client: Miller Brewing Co.
    Producer: Thomas A. Schutz Co.
    Category: Injection-molded Plastic: Sign
Comments: The client wanted a unique P-O-P display that would dominate the pool table area. A real, frosted-ice-block sculpture was duplicated in clear injection-molded components. Sophisticated assembly fixtures were developed to solvent seal the bottle into the ice block and assemble the block without mechanical fasteners.

  • Michelob Golf Singles Cooler Display

    Client: Anheuser-Busch Inc.
    Producer: Mead Merchandising
    Category: Rotationally/Blow-molded Plastic: Floorstand/fixture
Comments: This eye-catching singles cooler was designed to promote sampling at golf-related events. The unit's rotationally molded outer shell simulates the dimples on a golf ball. The lid and liner, made of injection-molded plastic, provide superior insulation qualities. The unit rests on a wooden stand covered by AstroTurf.

  • Budweiser Ice Draft Logo Neon

    Client: Anheuser-Busch Inc.
    Producer: Everbrite Inc.
    Category: Multiple Materials: Sign
Comments: To reinforce the brand's cool, refreshing image, this neon sign has a flare-patterned, polycarbonate cover that simulates the frozen logo in a block of ice. The sign is designed to hang on a 20-degree angle -- the exact angle of the original logo design.

  • Old Grand-Dad Motion Stacker

    Client: Jim Beam Brands
Producer: Rapid Mounting & Finishing Co.
    Category: Paperboard: Pole display
Comments: Cardboard pole display simulates morphing as the classic Grand-Dad bust dissolves into a party-hearty Santa. Motion is a simple crank-and-linkage arrangement driven by a battery motor. It is a tall configuration for a dissolve motion display.

  • Michelob Golden Draft Floor Display

    1994 Best of the Times
    Client: Anheuser-Busch Inc.
    Producer: Henschel-Steinau Inc.
    Category: Multiple Materials: Floorstand
Comments: The client wanted a display that would secure a permanent area of the store for the roll-out of a premium brand. The large replica of the flagship bottle has a pinwheel-support design that allows for easy restocking and consumer access. A flakeboard base supports 24 cases. Injection-molded trays were made from a new, high-gloss medium-impact styrene that simulates the luster of ABS, but costs less.

  • Cutty Sark Rain Check Display

Client: Hiram Walker & Sons Inc.
    Producer: Flair Communications Agency Inc.
    Category: Wood: Wall unit
Comments: This upscale display creates a lasting on-premise presence and promotes product use. An acrylic shield protects the model ship. The display carries wooden tokens, customized with the drinking establishment's name, that are good for a free drink at a later date.
