    Products Promoted: Hands-free system for cellular phones
    Objective: By imitating the dashboard of a car, the display draws attention and illustrates that it is safer to drive and talk while using this system. Because it's interactive, customers can actually call from the display to experience the sound quality and ease-of-use.

    Objective: The 24-inch-square inflatable CD case is part of a "launch package" distributed to record stores. It hangs from the ceiling above the Christian music section so the print of the artist's face draws attention.

  • Metacom Meijer's Music Station

    Brookdale Plastics, Plymouth, Minn., won an award for its Metacom Meijer's Music Station recently. It was recognized as the best in the heavy-gauge - thermoformed assembly category.
       The interactive unit was designed to enhance the sale of CDs and cassettes and features a touchscreen that enables the consumer to sample music from a variety of titles. The unit is further enhanced with backlit transparencies and metallized vacuum-formed parts.

    Objective: The display demonstrates the new paging technology that delivers messages, via a pocket pager, in the caller's own voice. The voice box plays three different messages to avoid repetition.
