The Path to Purchase Institute’s Retail Media Summit will gather the commerce marketing community in Chicago for the third straight year to help CPG brands and retailers navigate the complicated, rapidly shifting media landscape. 

Our packed program, June 25-27, features retail media experts for content sessions, idea exchange and networking to help attendees tap into the full power of retail media in the ever-evolving world of omnicommerce. Preview our agenda below:

Wednesday, June 26:

  • A keynote session and fireside chat with Hy-Vee’s executive vice president, chief marketing officer and president of RedMedia, Jessica Hendrix, and P2PI’s Jessie Dowd. The pair will discuss the role of retail media and the evolution of commerce marketing, how shifting consumer trends/insights are transforming retail and new marketing strategies and tactics.
  • A panel discussion on “The Global Evolution of Retail Media & What's Next?” with retail media leaders from Boots UK, Loblaw Companies Limited, WHSmith North America, Threefold and P2PI.
  • A session on “Unlocking Incrementality Insights in Retail Media: Strategies for Growth” with Skai’s Kevin Weiss, who will delve into new research findings from Skai and P2PI’s “2024 State of Retail Media” study.
  • A session titled “In-Store Impressions Unlocked: To the Roof, Under the Roof, In the Zone,” with speakers from Vibenomics, Quividi, Placer.ai and Retail Touchpoints.
  • A session titled “Shining Light on the Holistic Impact of Retail Media,” where Shipt’s David Young and Criteo’s Harman Sodhi will explore how analytical capabilities are unlocking more robust means of measuring value. 
  • A session on “Unifying In-Store RMNs and Programmatic Advertising to Unlock New Revenue Streams” with Wovenmedia and Place Exchange. (Learn more here.)
  • A session exploring “How Brands (and Retailers) Grow with In-Store Retail Media” with leaders from Media, Ads + Commerce, Grocery TV and Kinesso.
  • A discussion with CVS Media Exchange’s Pamela Young and P2PI’s Cyndi Loza titled “Membership Matters: How Loyalty Programs Drive Consumer Choice.” The pair will share an exclusive first look into joint research on loyalty programs and the drivers of customer loyalty.

Thursday, June 27:

  • A keynote address on “AI and the Hyper-Personalized Brand Experience” by Mitch Duckler, an author and managing partner at FullSurge. He’ll showcase how marketers are leveraging micro-segmentation and hyper-personalization together to tailor brand experiences and enhance relevance.
  • A session titled “Strength in Numbers: Retail Media for All,” from Ideal by Design House’s Adam Zimmerman, who will talk about regional retailers’ place in the retail media landscape.
  • A discussion exploring “Contextual Commerce: A Key Alternative For Thriving in The Cookie-less Era,” with P2PI’s Patrycja Malinowska, Mars United Commerce’s Julia Miller and Chicory’s Meghan Howard.
  • A session with Dollar General Media Network’s Charlene Charles and Goodway Group’s Angela Myers on “The Retail Media Evolution: Perceptions and Insights from Brands, Agencies and Retailers.” (Learn more here.)
  • A session on “Demystifying How to Drive Increased Performance Across the Full Funnel” with Chobani’s Pankita Desai and Roundel’s Monique Perlmutter and Nikhil Sharm. They’ll break down what full-funnel media looks like in practice, with research-based insights and case studies.
  • A session on “The Next Wave of Retail Media: Trends and Innovations” with leaders from Sam’s Club Member Access Platform (MAP) and Media, Ads + Commerce.

Additionally, we’ll recognize the 2024 Retail Media Awards winners at a special ceremony and cocktail celebration on June 26.
