Sam’s Club’s MAP Expands Sponsored Search Brand Amplifier

The premium ad placement is now available across the retailer media network’s entire Partners Club network and its self-service platform.

Sam’s Club’s retailer media network has made its Search Brand Amplifier solution available via its self-service platform and all of its certified agency and API partners, the retailer announced in a Sept. 6 LinkedIn post.

The Member Access Platform’s (MAP) Search Brand Amplifier is a sponsored search ad placement that showcases a brand and up to four SKUs at the top of relevant search results pages on the retailer’s website and mobile app, with clickable links. More specifically, the Brand Amplifier profile comprises:

  • A brand logo.
  • The brand name and tagline text prominently displayed.
  • A link to a custom brand page.
  • Easy add-to-cart buttons for items.

The MAP Partners Club — the certified partner program that launched back in April 2023— includes CommerceIQ, Flywheel, Harvest Group, Pacvue, Skai and Stackline. 

In July, Sam’s Club rolled out a series of enhancements to its Search Brand Amplifier solution to create additional touchpoints in the shopping journey. The enhancements included design, user experience and targeting elements and capabilities.

“Part of our mission at MAP is making it easy for our advertisers to activate campaigns quickly so they can start seeing results,” the LinkedIn post communicated. “We’re pleased to be able to expand access to this premium placement to advertisers using our self-service platform, as well as those working with our MAP Partners Club.”
