Puig Brands’ Spanish fashion and beauty brand, Rabanne (formerly known as Paco Rabanne), took over an Ulta Beauty store in Algonquin, Illinois, for a free two-day, interactive consumer experience.

The indoor and outdoor event was originally scheduled to take place in Kissimmee, Florida, on Oct. 4 and 5, but was relocated to Illinois due to Hurricane Helene.

For two days, Rabanne parked its unmissable traveling trailer, painted a shiny gold color, in the Ulta parking lot to introduce/promote its vegan makeup collection and fragrance scents to shoppers. Inside the trailer, products were displayed on illuminated vanities for shoppers to explore and test, while a TV played ads/visuals highlighting the brand’s beauty and fashion lines.

In the store, shoppers were immediately greeted by multiple branded table displays showcasing Rabanne products next to chairs where they could also test and try with help from staffed makeup artists. Notably, Rabanne also recruited celebrity makeup artist and beauty expert Cynde Watson to attend the event to share her beauty secrets, tips and tricks, both days from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

Rabanne also offered a free mini mascara and mini lipstick with any Rabanne makeup purchase of $75 or more during the two-day event.

The brand promoted the event stop, which followed four other similar events in the U.S. throughout September, via Eventbrite.
