The Path to Purchase Institute has named two keynote speakers for its Retail Media Summit in June. Colin Lewis, director at Retail Media Works, and Andrea Leigh, founder and CEO of Allume Group, a digital commerce education provider, will headline the event, which is designed to serve retail media-focused commerce marketing professionals. The event takes place June 27-29 in Chicago.

About the Speakers

Lewis advises both brands and retailers in Europe on their retail media strategy, and has served as an advisor, educator and consultant to brands including Unilever, Philip Morris, Samsung, Superdrug, De Beers, Bayer, L’Oreal, Sofidel, Kerry Group, Migros and Glanbia Performance Nutrition. He has worked as CMO for some of Europe’s biggest brands over the last 25 years as well as having worked in Australia, France, Ireland, Singapore and China.

During his keynote, Lewis will draw from historical trends — as well as U.S. and worldwide research  to illustrate how both brands and retailers can navigate mutually beneficial partnerships, rather than continue the often-adversarial nature of buyer-supplier relationships.

Leigh is an e-commerce educator, advisor and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience in e-commerce. While retail media can be a complicated space with complex challenges in areas such as budgeting, selecting networks and measuring results, it also can provide significant brand exposure and market share advantages to CPG brands.

Leigh’s keynote address, titled “Succeeding in the Future of Retail Media,” will help attendees better understand challenges and opportunities, particularly related to current events, trends, predictions for the future and the Allume Group’s M.E.D.I.A. framework for success.

Why Else Attend Retail Media Summit?

The Summit will also feature Path to Purchase Institute Connect, a two-day speed dating-like opportunity for CPG brands to participate in 20-minute one-on-one meetings with retailer media networks, agencies and solution providers, to discuss new products and services, marketing initiatives and business strategies. (To learn more about becoming a meeting guest or host, please contact Jennifer Miller at [email protected].)

“Our event is designed to help brands and retailers navigate this complicated, rapidly shifting arena of retail media and digital commerce. The program brings together the industry’s leading experts in retail media for content sessions, idea exchanges and networking,” says Eric Savitch, vice president and brand director for the Institute. “In addition, Path to Purchase Institute Connect will match CPG brands with solution providers through private, in-person meetings to help drive retail business forward.”
