Giant Eagle has joined forces with retail tech and retail media solution provider Swiftly to bring the latter’s Alcohol Cashback program to the grocer’s stores. The collaboration aims to create greater opportunities for growth across the retail value chain.

Giant Eagle chose Swiftly’s platform based on its compliance rigor, ease of execution and potential to drive strong promotional results.

As shoppers increasingly adopt digital behaviors and retailers update their promotional strategies, there’s rising demand for more flexible solutions that boost convenience and operational efficiency. Alcohol Cashback turns the longtime rebate model into a digital-first, retailer-led solution that simplifies execution, expands access to supplier-funded promotional dollars and bolsters retailer loyalty ecosystems, all while maintaining full compliance across complex state alcohol regulations.

This digitized rebate experience aims to help retailers like Giant Eagle re-engage shoppers, enhance category performance, attract new supplier investment and deliver measurable impact from promos.

The partnership allows Giant Eagle to streamline how alcohol promotions are delivered and managed across its operations, ensuring a consistent and compliant experience for shoppers, retailers and suppliers. By integrating Alcohol Cashback into its digital channels, Giant Eagle can strengthen engagement with customers, gain access to new supplier funding and drive incremental category growth, all within a single, unified platform.
