Turkish e-commerce platform D-Market Electronic Services & Trading (also referred to as “Hepsiburada” or “D-Market Elektronik Hizmetler ve Ticaret” in Turkish), has officially relaunched its retail media network program, HepsiAd.

The relaunch is part of the company's strategy to extend its services beyond Hepsiburada's platform and offer its commercial and technological capabilities to other retailers, according to a media release.

Hepsiburada, via its HepsiAd platform, plans to develop “streamlined marketing strategies and consolidate strategic marketing activities” across various channels into a single platform through “approved and secure” data communication channels and digital advertising technologies, per the release.

The company says HepsiAd helps its partners reach their target audience at the right time through the right channel as well as increase their visibility using various tools, from in-platform communication to social media to outdoor and thematic channels.

"Retail media networks, which [are] considered the third big wave of digital marketing, is a globally nascent industry,” Onur Gargılı, HepsiAd and marketing communications group director, said in the release. “With HepsiAd, our main goal is to enable our partners to reach their target audiences at the right place and time, with more efficient marketing spending, and to support them in boosting their sales and profitability.

“Each month, Hepsiburada hosts more than 210 million visitors on average on its platform,” he added. “We connect our partners with their target audience using 14 different communication channels. Our main goal is to ensure efficient and effective advertising spending for our business partners, and this serves Hepsiburada's vision of leading the digitalization of commerce."

Founded in 2000, Hepsiburada provides goods and services through its hybrid model combining first-party direct sales and a third-party marketplace with 101,300 merchants. The company offers services to both merchants and consumers, including last-mile delivery and fulfilment, advertising, on-demand grocery delivery and payment solutions.
