Specialty candy retailer It'Sugar opened its latest flagship store in April at Bayside Marketplace, a two-story open-air shopping center in Miami.

Larger than the retailer’s typical smaller candy shops, which span around 2,500-3,500 square feet, this new store spans more than 16,000 square feet across two floors and marks the retailer’s fifth flagship to date.

“Bayside Marketplace is an iconic South Florida location with the perfect mix of entertainment, restaurants and retail, and it is an ideal location with its energy and spirit for us to expand and open our newest candy department store,” Jarett Levan, president and CEO of BBX Capital and CEO of It’Sugar, said in a media release.

It’Sugar’s Bayside Marketplace location offers thousands of confections, humorous products and over-the-top in-store displays and immersive merchandising experiences. Similar to the other flagship stores, this location features its signature sections dedicated to iconic brands including Mondelez International’s Sour Patch Kids and Oreo, Mars Wrigley Confectionery's Skittles, Ferrara Candy Company’s Nerds, The Hershey Co.’s Reese’s and Mars’ M&M’s and Starburst.

Additionally, the store features dedicated areas for retro and international candies, TikTok-trending treats, and other unique offerings. Visitors can also explore a lollipop garden and discover various photo opportunities with larger-than-life character statues.

The Miami location is one of several larger-format stores It’Sugar has opened or plans to open this year, including a 8,500-square-foot location at Opry Mills in Nashville, Tennessee.

It’Sugar operates more than 100 locations in the U.S. and Canada. It is a member of Florida-based BBX Capital Inc.’s family of companies and a subsidiary of BBX Sweet Holdings.
