PAVE x Frito-Lay Student Design Challenge Winners Revealed
PAVE Global has named the winners of its 2022 student design challenge sponsored by Bish Creative Display, Little Diversified Architectural Consulting and Menasha Packaging.
The competition gives college students a real-world opportunity to showcase P-O-P display creativity alongside P-O-P manufacturers and retail brands. PAVE and PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay tasked students with designing a local, thematic display to merchandise the snack giant’s products.
The best designs were brought to life by the competition’s P-O-P partners and will be displayed at the PAVE booth (#404) at P2PI LIVE at the Chicago Hilton, Oct 18-20. The student designers behind the winning projects will also be attending the trade show to present their work in person.
The top concepts for the 2022 PAVE x Frito-Lay student design challenge were designed by:
- Allison Lackey, Industrial Design, Appalachian State University
- Jasmine McElroy, Industrial Design, Appalachian State University
Eligible students had to be enrolled in a two- or four-year program at a university, state/community college or technical school pursuing a degree in retail design, interior design, architecture, industrial design, visual merchandising or another related field of study.
On Oct. 19, attendees and Chicago-area industry professionals are invited to join PAVE and the Path to Purchase Institute at Untitled Supper Club for the PAVE Bash @ P2PI, celebrating 30 years of PAVE and 20 years of P2PI while supporting the future of the in-store experience.
