Target Bubble 'Gentle Formulas' Endcap

What’s new: Direct-to-consumer brand Bubble Skincare arrived at Target in February with an exclusive Hydro Heroes set.

What we saw: An endcap display in the personal care department used a “new at Target” message to spotlight the vegan brand’s gentle formulas for cleansers, moisturizer and eye cream. Individual SKUs range from $11.99 for salicylic acid spot treatment to $19.99 for an overnight hydrating sleep mask. The exclusive $33.99 three-step hydration routine kit includes a cream cleanser, serum and moisturizer.

Supporting activity: Bubble plugged the launch with TikTok and Instagram posts. A sweepstakes promoted on both platforms from Feb. 21-28 awarded the exclusive SKU to 10 winners.

More context: Bubble made its brick-and-mortar debut at Walmart in 2021 and has been continuing to expand its retail footprint. It launched at Ulta and CVS in 2022, expanded to the U.K. by arriving at Boots in 2024, and began selling at Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix in Canada in February. Bubble expanded to Australia in October, launching exclusively at Priceline.

The brand promoted the Priceline launch with a holiday-themed sweepstakes running from Dec. 17-23 on Instagram and TikTok. The sweeps awarded a full lineup of the brand’s product and a store gift card worth 150 Australian dollars.

Ulta received its own sweeps from Dec. 18-23 that awarded a bedazzled bag filled with equally glittery products and a $150 store gift card.
