Sally Hansen Gave Ulta a Syrup Collection
What’s new: Coty’s Sally Hansen launched a scented Syrup Collection of its Insta-Dri nail polish exclusively at Ulta Beauty in February.
What we saw: An endcap display used a “everything’s better with syrup” message to promote the Syrup Collection as “new and exclusive” and tout that it dries in 60 seconds. The citrus berry scented line features eight bright colors, all priced at $7.99, with playful names like Grape Glaze and Oozing Orange. The signage suggests using one to three coats based on the desired appearance.
The endcap also stocks Dashing Diva’s new Glaze Color line and limited-edition shades from L’Oreal’s Essie.
Additional support: Sally Hansen has been promoting the line with multiple Instagram updates. Ulta offered free eye patches with a $15 Sally Hansen nail purchase through April 5.
More context: Sally Hansen regularly gives exclusives to key retailers. In June, the brand tied into the release of Illumination’s “Despicable Me 4” with a line of quick dry nail polishes and press-on nails inspired by the characters, giving Walgreens an exclusive launch window before rolling out the collection to other retailers in July. Sally Hansen also gave Walmart an exclusive nail polish color when it released a line inspired by the NBC sitcom “Friends” in 2022.
