Publix Revamps Store Formats

The grocer is phasing out its natural and organic-focused GreenWise format, converting those stores to the traditional format. The retailer continues to build on its Pours concept, with in-house bars that serve coffee shop fare as well as beer and wine.

Walmart Grows In-Store Fulfillment

The mass merchant opened its second in-store fulfillment center, powered by automation and designed to speed up order processing and cut substitutions. Walmart also continues to grow its beer and wine delivery options.

Home Depot Gives Military a Tax Break

The Home Depot is making major appliance purchases tax-free for eligible military, retirees and dependents through a partnership with the Army & Air Force Exchange Service. The retailer will manage order fulfillment and plans to install major appliance showrooms at various U.S. exchanges.

Hannaford Adds a New Solution Provider

The Ahold Delhaize banner is using location-tech platform Flybuy to bolster its Hannaford To Go pickup service.
