What’s new: Nestle’s Pure Life made a $20,000 contribution to ShopRite’s Partners in Caring program to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the retailer’s hunger fighting program.

What we saw: Violators and standees in stores plugged Pure Life's support. A QR code linked to the organization’s website. The partnership was also spotlighted with wraps around case stacks.

Additional support: ShopRite touted the program’s anniversary in a July 21 email blast encouraging shoppers to round up their purchases starting Aug. 31 to support hunger relief.

Why it matters: The contribution was made as part of the Pure Life Project, which donates bottled water to Feeding America. ShopRite has donated $65 million to 2,500 food banks and shelters operating within its market since Partners in Caring was created.

The donations are made with the support of brands, whose products are marked with Partners in Caring shelf tags. ShopRite also works with the Ladies Professional Golf Association to sponsor the annual LPGA Classic in Galloway, New Jersey, The event has raised more than $40 million for local charities, including $1.8 million in 2025.

ShopRite pledged to spend $1.25 million to support regional food banks in November in response to uncertainty around SNAP benefits during the U.S. government shutdown. The retailer touted the contribution on Facebook.
