M&M’s to Throw Nostalgic Sleepover in Times Square Store
Mars’ M&M’s is drawing attention to its first-ever rewards program and enticing consumers to sign up by offering a chance to spend the night at the brand’s store in New York’s Times Square.
The candy brand launched M&M’s Fun Club in February. The program enables members to earn points for M&M’s purchases that they can redeem for prizes, experiences and giveaways.
To highlight the launch, M&M’s is running a limited-time sweepstakes that will award one new loyalty member (and four guests) a night at the flagship store in April.
The brand said the M&M's store sleepover was inspired by “the trend of recreating the fun of a sleepover with your best friends at any age,” according to a media release.
M&M’s said the private in-store event will feature personalized glamping set-ups and nostalgic sleepover activities.
The M&M's Fun Club winner and their friends will also get to meet a spokescandy character, try an exclusive Fun Club flavor mix (available only during the sleepover experience), and go on an after-hours shopping spree.
Consumers who sign up for the Fun Club at mms.com/fun-club from Feb. 26-March 19 will be entered in the sweepstakes. Members can increase their odds of winning by earning points from free challenges on the program’s website, such as completing extended profile questions or recruiting friends to join.
