  • Nike Shox Launch

    Client: Nike, Beaverton, Ore.
    Producer: Rapid Displays, Chicago
    Comments: Principal elements in this program include a slatwall display, an injection-molded "pod" mobile, a floor graphic and a lenticular sign. To reinforce that the shoes are exceptionally springy, a motion sensor in the mobile triggers a "boing" sound when customers pass underneath. A light sensor on the slatwall piece also triggers the sound when a customer picks up a shoe.

  • Busch NASCAR Auto Hood

    Client: Anheuser-Busch, St. Louis
    Producer: Grimm Industries, Fairview, Pa.
    Comments: Designed to reinforce Busch's relationship with NASCAR, this sign is an exact replica of a Chevy auto hood, except that it is made of co-extruded styrene to keep manufacturing and distribution costs low. The NASCAR and Busch logos appeal to their targeted retail environment of sports bars and arenas.

  • Verizon Wireless Counter Display

    Client: Verizon Wireless, Black Diamond, Wash.
    Producer: Rapid Displays, Chicago
    Comments: Sturdy aluminum construction and a turntable with PVC labels designed to last for a two-year service life set this display apart from the competition in the aggressive phone reseller channel. The phone holders and brochure pockets are attached with brackets that do not allow them to be accidentally removed even when pull cords are extended.

  • Time Force Display Program

    Client: Time Force Mexico S.A. de C.V., Colonial Polanco, Mexico
    Producer: APTO Frank Mayer, Lomas de Bezares, Mexico
    Comments: A gold winner in the multinational contest, this illuminated display features a cylindrical design that allows product to be seen clearly from any angle and increases placement flexibility in stores. A secure storage area in the base of the display allows for better inventory control.

  • Olay Complete Radiance Launch

    Client: Procter & Gamble, Cincinnati
    Producer: Alliance, a Rock-Tenn Co., Hunt Valley, Md.
    Comments: Designed to introduce the new Complete Radiance foundation via strong in-store marketing, this display features a six-color litho header and injection-molded product trays, base and header.

  • Estee Lauder Cinderella Display

    Client: Estee Lauder, New York
    Producer: Array Marketing Group, IDMD Design and Manufacturing Division, Toronto
    Comments: Exclusive to Nordstrom department stores, this display showcased the entire "If The Shoe Fits" compact collection. The entry is consistent with Estee Lauder's overall look on the cosmetic counter.
