  • Hi-Tec Floorstand

    Client: Hi-Tec Sports, Modesto, Calif.
Producer: JPMS Inc., Santa Fe Springs, Calif.
Comments: Hi-Tec wanted to portray the rugged strength of its product, so this display is constructed of thick, clear-coated sheet metal, wire and an unfinished pine log. The embossed header is made from the same leather as the boots, and the net ties in with Hi-Tec's Adventure Racing Series, in which contestants use nets to traverse rivers and other obstacles.

  • Skechers Journeys Wall

Client: Skechers USA, Manhattan Beach, Calif.
Producer: United Displaycraft, Des Plaines, Ill.
Comments: Designed specifically for Journeys retailers, this display sought to maximize Skechers visibility, reinforce the partnership with Journeys, promote a large number of styles and have easily updatable graphics. Although the units are large, assembly and installation was made easy by limiting the number of pieces.

  • Nike Shox Launch

    Client: Nike, Beaverton, Ore.
    Producer: Rapid Displays, Chicago
Comments: Principal elements in this program include a slatwall display, an injection-molded "pod" mobile, a floor graphic and a lenticular sign. To reinforce that the shoes are exceptionally springy, a motion sensor in the mobile triggers a "boing" sound when customers pass underneath. A light sensor on the slatwall piece also triggers the sound when a customer picks up a shoe.
