    Introduction: April 2003
    Number of displays: 257

  • Nuts & Bolts: Sony Cineza Demonstrator

A front-projection television required a high-quality, high-tech display to show off its features. The producer created a stable display that suspends a projector, and securely holds the DVD player and surround-sound system while letting the customer try it out.
    • Suspension design. It supports the projector 80 inches high, and 9 feet from the screen.
    • Secure settings. The DVD player and remote control are housed in a locked cabinet, with the remote control attached to the tether.

  • Anheuser-Busch King Brand Initiative

    Client: Anheuser-Busch Companies Inc., St.Louis
Producer: RTC Industries Inc., Rolling Meadows, Ill.
    Duration: Permanent
    Size of Run: 6,500
Comments: The five elements in this program were developed to help the client "connect" with young, affluent consumers in bars and restaurants with an upscale feel. The new King B logo and a deep red color help to enforce the Budweiser heritage and enhance brand image. The pool table lamp (top) uses a U-shaped bulb. Unlike straight bulbs, it does not leave a shadow at the end of a table.

    Duration: Temporary

Comments: Although the light bulbs look traditional, they are actually hand-applied to LED strands so that the display would not require AC electrical power.

  • Coors Light Neon

Client: The Integer Group, Golden, Colo.
    Producer: Everbrite LLC, Greenfield, Wis.
    Duration: Permanent
    Size of Run: 351
Comments: Despite its size -- it's over 7 feet long -- this Coors Light double-stroke neon sign is lightweight. The big and bold neon graphic, like its latest TV advertising, is impossible to miss.
