A brand identification system or label holder for use with a garment hanger or other display device includes first and second panels connected at hinges located along upper lateral edges. The panels open and close, and include opposed clamps or hooks which are positioned to snap over the display device when the panels are in the closed position. A pegboard hanger has a pair of shoulder members that pass through holes in pegboard. A body extends from the shoulder members in front of the pegboard, and a neck member on each shoulder member extends behind the pegboard, retaining the hanger in the pegboard. The hanger's structure prevents its unintentional removal from the pegboard when objects are lifted off the hanger.
