  • L'Oreal Colour Riche Wal-Mart Wedge

    Client: L'Oreal Canada, Montreal
    Producer: Techno P.O.S., Montreal
Comments: Used to relaunch an existing product, the objective of this display was to modernize the image of the product and attract a younger consumer. The display holds all of the new shades while still having ample space for graphics that communicate a younger image. It shipped fully assembled with a detailed planogram for retailers.

  • Wilson Smart-Core Floorstand

    Client: Wilson Sporting Goods, Chicago
Producer: Cormark, Elk Grove Village, Ill.
Comments: The modular design and shared components of the countertop, small floorstand and large floorstand achieve economies of scale and allow retailers to choose which format best serves their needs. Textured injection-molded trays feature a product guide that supports color-coded metallic packaging.

  • Metabolife Floorstand

Client: Metabolife International Inc., San Diego
Producer: Meridian Display, St. Paul, Minn.
Comments: Prior to August 2000, this product was only available from independent distributors and kiosks in shopping malls. This display was created to introduce the Metabolife product to a much larger audience and to reinforce the name, logo and product availability.

  • Hi-Tec Floorstand

    Client: Hi-Tec Sports, Modesto, Calif.
Producer: JPMS Inc., Santa Fe Springs, Calif.
Comments: Hi-Tec wanted to portray the rugged strength of its product, so this display is constructed of thick, clear-coated sheet metal, wire and an unfinished pine log. The embossed header is made from the same leather as the boots, and the net ties in with Hi-Tec's Adventure Racing Series, in which contestants use nets to traverse rivers and other obstacles.

  • PBM Infant Formula Merchandiser

Client: PBM Products Inc., Gordonsville, Va.
Producer: Applied Merchandising Concepts, New Rochelle, N.Y.
Comments: Designed for Wal-Mart's private label baby food line, this baby bottle-shaped display stands six feet high but is only 30 inches in diameter. It allows consumers to see five different varieties of formula from all sides. Two six-foot panels and "take one" literature pockets offer detailed information to consumers.

  • Coca-Cola Synergy Bottle

    Client: Schwarz Worldwide, Atlanta
    Producer: Joliet Pattern, Joliet, Ill.
Comments: Designed for self-service beverage centers in McDonald's restaurants, this vacuum-formed PETG bottle employs the twisted straw/french fry synergy icon of Coke/McDonald's. Two sets of art -- distorted and non-distorted -- allow for a molded front and flat back, which means the bottle can hang anywhere in the store or store window.
